Terms of Service

The terms governing use of Veynto's project cockpit and AI-assisted workflow features.

1. Agreement to terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Mekanico LLC, a California limited liability company ("Veynto," "we," "us," or "our"), governing your access to and use of the Veynto website and application (the "Service"). Veynto is a product of Mekanico LLC. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and located in the United States to use the Service. By using the Service you represent that you meet these requirements and that any information you provide is accurate. The Service is intended for US users; we make no representation that it is appropriate or available elsewhere.

3. Your account

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.
  • You must provide accurate account information and keep it current.
  • Notify us promptly at lucas.sandoval.professional@gmail.com of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. The Service; what Veynto is and is not

Veynto is a project-organization and tracking tool that sits alongside third-party AI coding tools. Veynto does not write, build, or deploy your software — your AI coding tool does that. Veynto helps you track features, tasks, reviews, architecture, and launch readiness, and surfaces AI-generated suggestions.

Human-verification model. Connected AI tools may report work as "AI-reported complete" or flag it for review, but only you (the human project owner) can mark work "verified complete." Veynto does not independently guarantee that any reported work is correct, complete, or secure. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all work.

Open beta. The Service is currently offered as an open beta. Features, usage limits, and availability may change, be interrupted, or be discontinued as we develop the product. We will use reasonable efforts to give notice of material changes.

5. AI-generated content and suggestions

The Service uses third-party AI providers (currently OpenAI) to generate suggestions such as features, tasks, and the "Next Best Move" recommendation.

  • AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable. You are solely responsible for evaluating and deciding whether to act on any suggestion.
  • To generate suggestions, relevant project content you submit is sent to our AI provider as described in the Privacy Policy.
  • Veynto makes no warranty regarding AI output and is not liable for decisions you make based on it.

6. Your content

  • Ownership. You retain all rights to the project content you submit to the Service ("Your Content").
  • License to operate. You grant Veynto a limited, non-exclusive license to host, store, process, transmit, and display Your Content solely to provide and improve the Service, including sending relevant content to sub-processors (such as OpenAI) as described in the Privacy Policy.
  • Responsibility. You represent that you have the rights necessary to submit Your Content and that it does not violate law or third-party rights.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the Service in violation of any law or regulation;
  • upload content that is unlawful, infringing, or that you lack the right to submit;
  • attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other users' data, or our systems, or interfere with the Service's operation or security;
  • abuse the Service's AI features or connected-tool integrations, including automated or scripted use intended to circumvent usage limits;
  • reverse engineer, resell, or misuse the Service or its AI features beyond what these Terms permit;
  • use the Service to build a competing product by scraping or bulk-extracting data.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section.

8. Third-party services

The Service integrates with third-party tools you choose to connect (e.g., AI coding tools) and relies on third-party providers (e.g., Supabase, Vercel, OpenAI). We are not responsible for third-party services, and your use of them is governed by their own terms and policies.

9. Fees and the open beta

The Service is currently free of charge during its open beta. We may introduce paid plans in the future; if we do, pricing and billing terms will be presented clearly before you are charged anything, and these Terms will be updated. Nothing in the beta obligates us to keep any particular feature free indefinitely, and we may adjust usage limits to keep the Service reliable. We will use reasonable efforts to give existing users advance notice before any feature they use becomes paid.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service or other users. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends; provisions that by their nature should survive (e.g., ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity, governing law) survive termination. Data handling after termination is described in the Privacy Policy.

11. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE, OR THAT AI OUTPUT WILL BE ACCURATE OR RELIABLE.

12. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VEYNTO WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS OR DATA, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF US $100 OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Veynto from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from Your Content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. The exclusive venue for disputes will be the state or federal courts located in Contra Costa County, California, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date and, for material changes, provide notice by email and/or in-app before they take effect. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
